Originally published: September 1st, 2025 Whether you are simply just a fan of a delicious slice of tomato pie or you are googling this desperate for a midnight snack to soak up all the booze, we have you covered. I present: some of the best pizza in Las Vegas that you can obtain via your own car or delivery. While you might not typically associate Las Vegas with pizza specifically, there is, indeed, some great pizza in Sin City. Some pizza joints on the strip can charge upwards from $40 -$50 bucks a pie. Did you audibly gasp? Meanwhile, other slice shoppes offer mediocre and overpriced helpings of ‘za. To make the most thorough assessment of the slices deserving of your hard earned cash, we ate at each of these places multiple times to ensure quality and consistency. Chiefly, it was mandatory to try a cheese pizza from each shoppe, to ensure we are comparing tomatoes to tomatoes. My rationale: if you can’t do a cheese pizza well, it’ll likely be downhill from there. It was quite a sacrifice, but someone had to do it. Anything for you babe… mangia, mangia! Basically, Red Dwarf is a dimly lit, vibey dive bar that often hosts bands and various live music shows. Albeit, it’s definitely a highly specific atmosphere, but, you should not miss this pizza – it’s magnificent. Also, if you’ve never had Detroit style pizza, it comes in a rectangular shape, with crispy, buttery crust edges and a soft pillowy inside. Besides cheese, you pick your toppings and the entire pie is draped with two stripes of sauce – either red or white… your choice. This is a place that you can have excellent pizza, drinks, booze and listen to music. However, if you’re more of an introvert, or want to enjoy the pizza in the comfort of your own space or where you’re staying, you can call ahead or order it to go when you arrive. Tip: Red Dwarf offers five types of signature Detroit style pizzas. You can always order a cheese pizza for $14. Wanna customize it? Add any combinations of toppings you want for two dollars a piece. Every pizza you order comes with choice of red or white sauce. Both are delicious – the white sauce is a creamy garlic concoction. You can also order your pizza extra cripsy! Okay, I’m going to go ahead and say it… Giuseppe’s is some really good pizza you can get in Las Vegas. Particularly, amongst the late night food options. Further, there’s only high praises to sing about Giuseppe’s. Indeed, it is a great value, always fast and consistent and it is delicious classic New York Style pizza. Moreover, you can get Giuseppe’s delicious New York style pizza any hour of the day and night. That’s right. If you are in a frenzy for pizza at three am, you can place an order and actually obtain high quality pizza at that hour. The closest location to the strip is on South Durango, a 13 minute drive by car. Tip: Yup, they’re open 24 hours. Further, they also offer gaming, if you’re interested! Oh, they also make their potato chips fresh in house. Easily some of the warmest and friendliest service you’ll find in any pizza shoppe – or – anywhere in town, really: Verrazano Pizza. Located in Spring Valley, it is a tiny space nestled in an assuming shopping plaza. Additionally, there are only a handful of tables in the place. However, Verrazano should not be overlooked. Whether you want to grab a pie to go or sit in for a few slices, Verrazano epitomizes a neighborly pizza spot where everyone is made to feel at home. Spoiler alert: the pizza is delicious, too. Tip: They make their own signature ranch, fresh in house. Verrazano is known for their house ranch and it lives up to the hype – highly recommend. Only .75 cents a cup! Metro pizza has a neighborhood pizza spot feel and is always consistent – both in service and in pizza quality. This has been a Vegas legacy pizza spot since the 1980’s when two New Yorkers whom were also cousins founded it. They make a fantastic, high quality cheese pizza that always hits the spot every time. They pride themselves in being a “family friendly” neighborhood pizza spot. The closest location to the main part of the strip is a smidge over a mile (the Koval Lane location listed below). Metro’s original location – on Tropicana – closed in late 2025, after 37 years. Luckily, the location closest to the strip located inside Ellis stays open until midnight. Conversely, the neighborhood locations close at 8pm – so they aren’t open very late. However, if you get a craving for pizza between the hours of 11:00am- 8:00pm, you can’t go wrong with Metro Pizza if you’re near one of the other three locations. In recent years, they debuted “Razor’s Edge Tavern-style” pizzas. If you like really thin, perfectly crisp crust or are doing ‘low carbs,’ you will love them. Currently, this style currently comes in six offerings: Cheese, Pepperoni, Classic ‘White,’ Artichoke Pesto, and two specialty combinations. Tip: Metro makes some really good specialty pizza’s you won’t find on other menus. The Zamboni (pepperoni, sausage, red peppers and hot honey) and The Olde New York are particularly good. The only thing about Metro I don’t like is their size options – only 9″ or 16.” Be aware that the 9″ inch is roughly a good size personal pizza. Carmine Vento hailing from Brooklyn, New York moved to Las Vegas and saw a need for classic New York style pizza. Carmine’s will serve you up a solid slice of this style pizza. Large slices, very thin crust, delicious sauce. Additionally, this shoppe lays claim to being the first shop in Vegas to sell pizza by the slice. Not to mention, serving pies to Dean Martin, Liberace and even Elvis Presley himself. Tip: Carmine’s makes excellent Tiramisu. They also have a rewards program. You can place an order online or over the phone, however, I recommend placing an order through their website to obtain rewards points if you’re local. You can earn 1.5x’s the points on Tuesdays and an extra 15 points for ordering dessert. If you want to transport yourself to a romantic night in Trastevere, or perhaps you have a hankering for the style pizza you’d find in Italy, look no further than family owned Solamente. Solamente identifies as “Contemporary Neapolitan Pizza.” Chef Ethan, who creates these luscious pies is actually a special education teacher by day and moonlights as a Pizzaiolo. The pizzeria is located in a busy shopping plaza in west Las Vegas, near Summerlin and just north of Spring Valley. Let’s just address the obvious, this shoppe is nowhere near the strip. However, if you’re new in town or simply are in the mood for a little adventure and like this style pie, it’s definitely worth the trip. Tip: Undeniably, the Bianca Miele pizza is quite a treat. If you’re vegetarian, or need to cut back on acidity, the pie is sans tomato sauce. It is a delicious medley of honey whipped ricotta, mozzarella, garlic, pecorino and sea salt, topped with fresh basil; it’s exquisite! So there you have it. Wow all these pizzas look good, but I loved your tip about Carmine’s tiramisu! That would be a great treat after
It’s delicious, one of the best Tiramisu’s I’ve EVER had!
These all look incredible. I think I would go to Solamente first.
It’s so good! Many great specialty pizzas.
What is the white sauce made of from red dwarf?
It’s a cream based sauce, loaded with garlic. You can smell the flavorful garlic goodness when you open the box. If you like that sort of sauce, you’ll love the white sauce!
Looking at all those amazing slices of pizza seriously made me hungry. I keep thinking it must’ve really been fun to do all this research on pizza in Las Vegas. Next time in Vegas, I will know where to go for the best pizza.
It was definitely daunting eating all this delicious pizza, but someone had to do it *giggle*. Honestly, it was definitely fun – there were some that were good, but didn’t quite make the cut. I definitely think grabbing pizza at any of these places will make any foodie happy!
This has made me so hungry, they all look so good!
It makes me hungry looking at them too. They really are all so good!
I do love my pizza! The Detroit pizza sounds amazing, I reckon that would be my favourite. The Mott Street Pizza from Metro also look pretty good. I plan on visiting Vegas one day so I’ll pin this for when I do.
A guide we didn’t know we needed when heading to Vegas! haha
I love pizza and I’m so glad you’ve got a good mix. You’ve even got Detroit-style pizza, which I love!
Oh my goodness! They all look so good! But that Detroit pizza looks insane! I have a new found love for that type of pizza, so that would be my first pick!
Okay, I’m definitely craving some pizza, now. It may be a while before I visit Vegas again but I’ll be sure to check out one of these when I do, they all look delicious!
we always love a good pizza when we are just looking for food. I have a friend who has probably tried every pizza in Vegas. I’ll ask her thoughts too.
